Erro 1054 - Unknown column 'p.products_id' in 'on clause' na oscommerce

Recentemente atualizamos nosso banco de dados para mysql 5

as instruções a seguir foram retiradas do site do fabricante da oscommerce link: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4654

 

Se estiver utilzando uma versão mais antiga da os commerce, precisa aplicar as correções abaixo para solucionar o problema:

a versão da oscommerce após set/out 2006 não possui este problema.

É necessário fazer alguns ajustes simples no index.php e no search_result.php, como segue:
